Just completed 2/27/2022 This painting takes me to an island where life is slower and in my mind is a gentle play between mother and son.  This conjured so many stories while painting it of time spent down island in the Caribbean spending time with the local people enjoying a new culture.

Night Ride is a memory of my teenage sons when the X Games came to Nashville. They set up in the games in the parking lot of Titans football stadium on a hot summer day. I took five boys to watch the skateboarding, biking, and more thrill sports than you could imagine in one day. Later that evening they were in their hoodies and off for a ride after dark.
